SOLD: Montecristo Estoque – Ten Pen Box

Montecristo Estoque closedThe Montecristo Estoque is the high end of their Espada line.  All the Espada boxes are covered with leather, but it is usually brown and rather like suede.  The Estoque is much more elegant, covered with black pebbled leather.  It is also of superior construction with chrome quadrant hinges.

Inside, I have used the existing divider system to create individual felt-lined compartments for ten pens.  The dividers originally were unfinished wood.  Sanding and some black paint changed their appearance dramatically to match the black box, then I lined each section with black felt carefully fitted to form the pen compartments.  I added a felted bottom and lift ribbons so that you can remove the entire tray as desired.  The overall black color scheme yields a very attractive box and the individual pen compartments will protect your pens very well.

The Estoque box measures 10 1/2 inches by 7 1/2 inches by 1 1/2 inches.  As always, the bottom of the box is fitted with a 2mm foam pad to prevent any marring of your desk or table and also to prevent inadvertent sliding.

The pen compartments accommodate pens up to 6 1/8 inches long, and large diameter is no problem.  Note my MB 149 in the pictures.
