People are always asking me about boxes to hold their ink bottles. Seems that our bottles tend to become quite a clultter unless we find some way to contain them. Here are three boxes that are available right now if you need a nice ink bottle box.

The first two are the (almost) familiar Hoyo de Monterrey boxes that many people have bought from me.
One – center in the picture – is the usual “No. 1 Maduro” box. Inside it measures 7 3/8″ wide by 4 3/8″ front to back by 3 3/8″ deep. That means that it is not quite deep enough for those Noodler’s bottles. SOLD – more later
The second – right in the picture – is a Hoyo de Monterrey “Epicure” which is a somewhat smaller version of the usual “Excalibur” boxes. It is made in the same design, with finger-jointed corners, but the inside dimensions are 5 1/2″ wide by 4″ front to back by 3 1/4″ deep. It is of current manufacture and is stained with my favorite Minwax “Gunstock” stain. SOLD
The third box – left in the picture – is from PDR Cigars and is deep enough for Noodler’s bottles. It is well-made with finger-jointed corners and I’ve fitted nine Noodler’s bottles in it with room to spare. It too is stained with Minwax “Gunstock” stain. It’s inside measurements are 5 3/4″ wide by 6 1/8″ front to back by 4″ deep. SOLD
All three boxes are padded on the bottom with 2mm thick foam to prevent unwanted movement or scratching of your desk or table surface. All can be shipped immediately.
The boxes are priced as follows:
Hoyo de Monterrey No. 1 – $15 plus shipping SOLD, more in March, 2014
Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure – $12 plus shipping SOLD
PDR Cigars – $12 plus shipping SOLD
